Im underwater here...

the bass chord at 30 sec before the silence was too high? maybe, doesnt matter. These drums are really powerful, the crashes in particular, they last forever haha. The strings could maybe use some more reverb. Nice little piano interlude, could have a little more action in the upperovtaves, sense it is the only instrument. Very full sounding, nice job!

Gloudas responds:

Glad you liked it! Good idea with the reverb on strings though, hadn't thought of that. Thanks for reviewing!

yo this is insane

I think the acoustic guitar came in too early, and some of the transitions were a little confusing in the middle. Mmm bells sound nice

Everything else was flawless, this song is amazing!!!

Ah...

I had this really long review about how this song made me feel like I was on a lake, but newgrounds server fucked up when I tried to submit it....

There was an old man with a straw hat on a fishing boat and mythical sea monsters that were actually kind of friendly, one even offered you a ride haha

Alas, this song was very relaxing, the glitched out drum beats when the kit first came in could be cleaned up abit i guess, its the only thing that really threw me off. The piano sounded really nice :D

Good Luck!

Felt like i was on a world map

for looping purposes, those two brass notes at the end should definatly be played by a string...nice job otherwise

Zero123Music responds:

ok, thanks for the suggestion. I will fix right away. :D

Menu Loop

Might be a more apropriate title then haha. Sucks that Im not listening to this on my speakers, I think the sub would sound nice, at leat I feel like this should be 10x more dark and deep. Th beat is simple, nice little break in it. The hats that come on the down beat, try putting them on the up beat with less velocity, it would make it sound more continious, and seeing as its a loop, thats something you should go for...

But me likes

LoneEagle responds:

Hi RyeGuyHead, i haven't listened to this on my speakers either, i always wear the headphones nowadays. Thanks for your feedback it is really appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed the loop.

oooh

me likes the bass alot. I would change the attck on the brass, its a little too slow, maybe bring it up in the upper eq too. Whats this orchestra part, wasn't expecting that haha.

coMpLekS responds:

yeah, the brass does sound a lil off now that you mention it. haha, yea i dunno about that orch part i just felt like switchin it up.

I would have to agree...

this track is pretty sick. I would put more in the fill at 11 sec, when there is silence, maybe take out a little in the synth part at the transitions aswell if you do master and re-upload. Just some suggestions...

Very catchy anyways, nice job!

Lol what up RGH. long time no talk. maybe i will end up doing something with it. preciate the input!

Had me going

Until about the 40 second mark, then it got too cluttered. You probably could have done without one of the synth basses during that part. The guitar arpegios sounded good when you brought thta back in, would have liked to hear more diveresification on the drums, although you had some nice fills.

Bringing back the main riff, a nice touch. The next guitar part came in a bit abruptly...but when everything came back together in the end it was a good bit of closure. Alot of nice elements, just work on piecing them together

Apropriatly titled

The song is nice, didnt really build or pick up like i wanted it to. Mainly after the first minute and a half, I wanted that pulsating drum beat to get crazy and have a nice groove going. But its more chilled out, so it works. The synth lead was nice sounding, but really repetitive, but hey, thats commercial music, so good job.

The piano interlude, was not expected but sounded great. Strings would sound escellent in that section. Drums should have changed slightly during the second half the song, more hats or something. The subtle synth in the left pan should be brought out more methinks, I missed on the first time around haha

Keep doing your thing!

what the...

the song changed so much at the minute marker. It got all down-tempo and grooved out, with the organ and keyboard patches, it made the song for me. Drums are always changing, definatly a plus. The beginning is a little too random for my tastes, but its definatly a sick track. The minute marker especially reminds me of the gorillaz.

check out my latest?

SineRider responds:

Yeah, this was a total experiment with sampling and stuff. I'm glad you liked it. I brought so of my craziest drum programming and manual glitching I could do in the beginning. I think it came out good.

I will check your song now :)
